Data protection and website use

Cookie Policy

Which cookies the website uses, what they are for, how long they last and how you can accept them, reject them or change your preferences.

This is a courtesy translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails. Read the Spanish version

This Policy explains which cookies are used by the website https://pronetsys.com.co, operated by PRONETSYS S.A.S. (hereinafter, “Pronetsys” or “the Company”), what they are used for, how long they remain on your device and how you can accept, reject or delete them.

The site only sets analytics cookies when you authorize it. The cookies necessary for the technical operation of the site are disclosed in this document, but they do not require your consent.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in the visitor’s browser to remember information about their visit, such as an open session or their preferences. They can be classified according to:

  • Who sets them: first-party cookies are associated with the domain of the site being visited; third-party cookies are associated with the domain of another entity, such as an analytics provider.
  • How long they last: session cookies are deleted when the browser is closed; persistent cookies remain until their expiration date or until the user deletes them.
  • Their purpose: necessary, analytics or marketing, as explained in section 4.

The provisions of this Policy for cookies also apply to similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, when they perform equivalent functions.

2. Controller and scope

The controller of the data obtained through cookies is PRONETSYS S.A.S., NIT 901.386.859-4, domiciled in Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia. You can find its full contact details in the Personal Data Processing Policy.

This Policy applies to the corporate website. The support portal (https://soporte.pronetsys.com.co), the external store or catalog and the third-party services linked from the site, such as WhatsApp, may use their own cookies, which are governed by their respective policies.

Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, which the Company uses to monitor the site’s presence in search engines, do not set cookies in visitors’ browsers.

3. Legal basis

In Colombia, information obtained through cookies that identifies or makes a person identifiable constitutes personal data, and its processing is governed by Statutory Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013, compiled in Decree 1074 of 2015. Accordingly:

  • Analytics and marketing cookies: are only set with your prior, express and informed consent, which you grant through the cookie banner. You can withdraw it at any time as easily as you granted it.
  • Necessary cookies: do not require consent, because they are essential to provide the functions you request (submitting a form, accessing the administrative portal or remembering your cookie choice) and are not used to analyze your behavior or for commercial purposes. They are disclosed in this Policy in compliance with the principle of transparency.

Rejecting analytics cookies does not limit access to the site’s content or the use of its forms.

4. Cookie categories

Necessary Always active

They enable the technical operation and security of the site, such as the form session and the record of your cookie preferences.

Analytics Requires consent

They make it possible to measure, in aggregate form, how the site is used, and to generate heatmaps and anonymized session recordings, in order to improve its content and your experience.

Marketing Not currently used

The site does not currently use advertising cookies. The category appears disabled in the banner in case they are added in the future, which would require updating this Policy and obtaining your consent.

5. Cookies used on this site

CookieProviderPurposeDurationCategory
pnx_sid Pronetsys (first-party) Maintains the technical session when using the site’s forms or the administrative portal. It is only created when these functions are used. Configured as HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. Session (deleted when the browser is closed) Necessary
pnx_consent Pronetsys (first-party) Stores your cookie preferences so that you are not asked again on every visit. 180 days Necessary
_ga Google LLC – Google Analytics 4 (first-party to the site, set by Google) Distinguishes visitors by means of a pseudonymous identifier, in order to compile usage statistics. 2 years Analytics
_ga_<ID> Google LLC – Google Analytics 4 (first-party to the site, set by Google) Maintains the state of the analytics session. <ID> corresponds to the identifier of the site’s Google Analytics property (currently, _ga_THC880BZHJ). 2 years Analytics
_clck Microsoft Corporation – Microsoft Clarity (first-party to the site, set by Microsoft) Retains the Clarity pseudonymous identifier and its preferences for this site. 1 year Analytics
_clsk Microsoft Corporation – Microsoft Clarity (first-party to the site, set by Microsoft) Groups the pages viewed by a visitor into a single recording session. 1 day Analytics
CLID Microsoft Corporation – Microsoft Clarity (third-party, Microsoft domain) Identifies the first time Clarity recorded this visitor on any site that uses Clarity. 1 year Analytics
MUID Microsoft Corporation (third-party, Microsoft domain) Identifies unique browsers visiting Microsoft sites. According to Microsoft, it uses this cookie for its own analytics, operational and advertising purposes. This site uses it solely as part of Clarity’s operation. 1 year Analytics

The durations indicated are maximums; some cookies are renewed with each visit. Microsoft may set auxiliary cookies associated with MUID on its own domains, described in the Microsoft Clarity documentation. You can delete any cookie before it expires, as explained in section 8.

Microsoft Clarity is configured with content masking, so that session recordings do not capture the text you type in forms. According to information from Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.

The site implements Google Consent Mode v2, Google’s mechanism for communicating the visitor’s consent choices to its tools. It works as follows:

  • By default, all permissions are set to denied: analytics storage (analytics_storage), advertising storage (ad_storage), sending user data for advertising purposes (ad_user_data) and ad personalization (ad_personalization).
  • Until you grant your consent, the site does not load Google Analytics 4 or Microsoft Clarity, so their cookies are not set and no browsing data is sent to these providers.
  • If you accept the analytics category, only the analytics_storage permission is granted and both tools are loaded. Advertising permissions remain denied, because the site does not use marketing cookies.

7. How to manage your preferences

You can accept, reject or customize cookies at any time:

  1. Open the cookie panel. Click the “Cookie settings” link, available in the footer of every page of the site.
  2. Choose the categories. Enable or disable the analytics category. Necessary cookies always remain active.
  3. Save your choice. Your decision is stored in the pnx_consent cookie for 180 days. When that period expires, or if this Policy is substantially updated, the site will ask for your consent again.

If you withdraw your consent, the site will stop loading the analytics tools from that moment on. To delete any cookies that have already been set, you can clear them from your browser as indicated in the following section. Google also offers a browser opt-out add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

In addition to the preferences panel, you can block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Please note that blocking necessary cookies may prevent forms from being submitted.
